NECA has unveiled a glow-in-the-dark Creature from the Black Lagoon action figure. A release date has not yet been announced, but photos of the collectible–courtesy of Toyark–are on this page.
The seven-inch Ultimate figure–priced at $30–includes three extra pairs of hands and three interchangeable head sculpts. A display-friendly window box with an opening front flap completes the set.

Creature from the Black Lagoon–the 1954 black-and-white 3D horror classic–is directed by Jack Arnold from a screenplay by Harry Essex and Arthur Ross. Starring Richard Carlson and Julia Adams–with Ben Chapman playing the Gill-man on land and Ricou Browning doing the honors underwater–the film follows a group of scientists who encounter an amphibious humanoid in the waters of the Amazon.
