“God played a trick on you.”
The Exorcist: Believer–the first of three planned sequels to the 1973 Oscar-nominated horror classic–hits theaters in about a month now, and another spine-chilling trailer has arrived. Check out the video on this page.
The Blumhouse/Universal horror pic–slated for the big screen Oct. 6–is directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Scott Teems, Danny McBride and Peter Sattler.
In this sequel, Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.) is raising his young daughter Angela (Lidya Jewett) alone since his wife’s death. But things go horribly wrong when Angela and her friend Katherine (Olivia Marcum) go missing one day in the woods.
The two friends return three days later–with no memory of what happened to them–and then a chain of events forces Fielding “to confront evil and find the one person who has seen something like this before: Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn).”
