The Texas Chain Saw Massacre asymmetrical horror video game–based on Tobe Hooper’s 1974 genre classic–will release next month, and a new trailer has dropped to tease the mayhem on tap. Check out the video on this page.
The game–debuting Aug. 18–has been developed by Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham, and will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/5, PC and Game Pass.
As explained, the game features three killers who hunt down four survivors. Players control not only Leatherface, but new Slaughter family members.
The actors bringing the game’s characters to life include Kane Hodder as Leatherface and Edwin Neal as the Hitchhiker–as well as Scout Taylor-Compton, Kristina Klebe, Sean Whalen and Damian Maffei.
