A new teaser has arrived for the big-screen adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s before the film hits theaters just before Halloween. Check out the brief clip on this page.

This cinematic take on the popular horror video game–slated for the big screen Oct. 27–comes from Blumhouse Productions, with Emma Tammi in the director’s chair, working from a screenplay she wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback.

In the movie, Mike Schmidt (John Hutcherson), a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, discovers his job is much stranger than he had expected–the building’s animatronic creatures that seem cuddly by day are far more sinister at night.

The cast is rounded out by Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabeth Lail and Kat Conner Sterling.
