Deadline is reporting that casting has begun for Netflix’s Midnight Mass series. Mike Flanagan will direct the seven-episode series which focuses on an isolated island community which experiences miraculous events – and frightening omens – after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest.
Kate Siegel who starred in The Haunting of Hill House will get top billing along with Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy) and Hamish Linklater (Legion). Other cast members include Michael Trucco, Samantha Sloyan, Annabeth Gish, Crystal Balint, Matt Biedel, Alex Essoe, Henry Thomas, Rahul Abburi, Rahul Kohli, Kristin Lehman, Robert Longstreet, Annarah Shephard and Igby Rigney.
Flanagan took time out of his busy schedule recently to jump on Twitter give an update on his many projects where he mentioned Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Bly Manor.
