Now that is one big monster.

Troll–a new monster movie coming to Netflix–brings a Norwegian fairy tale figure to life, and a short teaser gives fans a brief glimpse at the size of the horrors to come. Check out the clip–courtesy of comicbook.com–on this page.

Troll–from director Roar Uthaug–goes “deep inside the mountain of Dovre, where something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years,” according to the synopsis. “Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?”

The film–produced by Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud–stars Ine Marie Wilmann, Kim Falck, Mads Sjogard Pettersen, Gard B. Eidsvold, Pal Richard Lunderby, Pal Anders Nordvi, Eric Vorenholt and Hugo Mikal Skar.

Uthaug said this movie is “an idea that has been developing in the back of my mind for more than 20 years. To finally be able to realize it is truly a dream come true. I can’t wait to unleash this Norwegian monster on the world.” No debut date on Netflix has yet been announced.
