The key is to stay alive when you live in Shadyside.

Today Netflix revealed a sneak peek at their upcoming film, Fear Street: Prom Queen. The video, which can be seen below, was posted to Netflix’s social accounts and offers a look at the cast complete with a retro video look.

Fear Street: Prom Queen stars India Fowler (The Nevers, Insomnia), Suzanna Son (Red Rocket, The Idol), Fina Strazza (Paper Girls, Above the Shadows), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty, Cinnamon), Chris Klein (Sweet Magnolias, American Pie), Lili Taylor (Outer Range, Manhunt), Ella Rubin (The Idea of You), and Katherine Waterston (The End We Start From, Perry Mason).

Written by R.L. Stine and released in 1992, Fear Street: Prom Queen was the fifteenth book in the Fear Street series. The official synopsis of the book read: “A spring night, soft moonlight, five beautiful Prom Queen candidates, dancing couples at the Shadyside High prom—these should be the ingredients for romance. But instead they’re a recipe for terror…”

The film is currently in production, and we should have an official release date shortly. Keep it locked to Horror News Network for more on Fear Street: Prom Queen.
