Just one more week to go.

The upcoming season–split into Volume 1 and 2 (which debuts July 1)–will find the familiar characters separated for the first time. Police Chief Jim Hopper is stuck in a gulag in Russia, Jonathan and Will Byers start a new school year in California and–back in Hawkins–a new monster surfaces to create all kinds of havoc.
The fourth season–led, as always, by creators Matt and Ross Duffer–will contain nine episodes, with the opener being titled Chapter One: The Hellfire Club.
Ross Duffer has said the fourth season will feature a much more mature tone. “We’re leaning much harder into that horror movie territory that we love,” he said. “It was fun to make that change.”
The series–which has been renewed for a fifth and final season–has already received 39 Primetime Emmy Award nominations (winning six) and has won three People’s Choice Awards.
