A strange circle of life.
Netflix this week snapped up the rights to the Australian horror flick Run Rabbit Run, according to a report on Deadline. A release is planned for later this year–stay tuned for an exact debut date.
The film–directed by Daina Reed from a screenplay by Hannah Kent–stars Sarah Snook, Lily LaTorre, Damon Herriman and Greta Scacchi.
The feature follows Sarah, a “fertility doctor with a strong understanding of the cycle of life–in which a person is born, they live and they die,” according to the synopsis.
But all that thinking is trashed when Sarah’s young daughter Mia begins displaying “increasingly strange and erratic behavior, and Sarah is forced to challenge her own beliefs and confront a ghost from her past.”
Anna McLeish and Sarah Shaw produced the film, along with Deanne Weir and Olivia Humphrey serving as executive producers.
