“I will make them pay.”

The Witcher slashes into the second volume of Season 3–the last episodes for star Henry Cavill as the monster-slaying Geralt of Rivia–this Thursday, July 27, and the final trailer is here on this page.

The hit Netflix horror-fantasy series has already been renewed for Season 4, with Liam Hemsworth (of The Hunger Games fame) donning the armor and wielding Geralt’s sword for more bloodletting.

Executive producer Tomek Baginski recently explained that, even though the next season will spotlight “a new Geralt–a new face,” the vision is “very close to the ideas which are embedded in the books–especially Book 5.”

The first two seasons of the show–created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich–have followed the intertwined destinies of Geralt, Ciri (Freya Allan) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) as they traverse the dangerous world of The Continent–where monsters, elves, gnomes and Witchers strive to survive.
