Everything is about to turn upside down.

Looking ahead, Volume 2 of Stranger Things 4–led, as always, by series creators Matt and Ross Duffer–will then air July 1.
The new season will find the familiar characters separated for the first time–Police Chief Jim Hopper is imprisoned in Russia, Jonathan and Will Byers are starting a new school year in California and a new monster is rearing its ugly head back in Hawkins.
Ross Duffer has gone on record as saying this fourth season will have a more mature tone. “We’re leaning much harder into that horror movie territory that we love,” he said. “It was fun to make that change.”
Stranger Things–which will return for a fifth and final season–has garnered 39 Primetime Emmy Award nominations (winning six) and has taken home three People’s Choice Awards.
