The film–directed by Jeff Wadlow (Are You Afraid of the Dark?) from a screenplay by Rob Rugan, Todd Berger and John R. Morey–stars Marlon Wayans (the Scary Movie franchise) and Priah Ferguson (Stranger Things) as a father-daughter duo who face a supernatural menace that’s haunting their hometown and bringing Halloween decorations to life.

The cast also includes Kelly Rowland, Rob Riggle, John Michael Higgins, Nia Vardalos, Lauren Lapkus, Holly J. Barrett, Myles Perez, Abi Monterey and Helen Slayton-Hughes.

The film–scheduled for an Oct. 14 debut on Netflix–is produced by Wayans, Rick Alvarez and Nathan Reimann, with Wadlow serving as executive producer.
