Netflix Acquires Script For Greg Russo’s ‘Seismic’

Our poor planet is attacked again.

Greg Russo (Mortal Kombat) has written a script for a horror thriller entitled Seismic, and this week Netflix picked up the rights to the screenplay, according to a report on Deadline.

The storyline reportedly follows a single mother who must fight to reunite with her missing son “amid chaos after the Earth’s surface is decimated by a mysterious attack.” No details on casting, production schedules or a release window are known at this early stage.

Producers on the project include Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine for 21 Laps and Adam Kolbrenner for Lit Entertainment Group.
