Murphy And Blum Teaming On The Town That Dreaded Sundown Remake

THR is reporting that Ryan Murphy and Jason Blum will team on the remake of The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is in negotiations to direct the movie, which already has a script by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the playwright who wrote MGM’s upcoming remake of Carrie. The original Town That Dreaded Sundown was about A Texas Ranger hunts for a hooded serial killer terrorizing the residents of a small town, set in 1946 Arkansas.
