Some mothers never let go.
Mother, May I?–a psychological horror-thriller from Dark Sky Films–this week received a release window of spring 2023, according to a report on Deadline. No exact debut date was announced.
The pic–the feature debut for writer/director Laurence Vannicelli–stars genre veterans Kyle Gallner (Smile) and Holland Roden (Teen Wolf: The Movie).
In the film, a man’s fiancee “starts behaving like his recently deceased mother, leading him to confront his deepest traumas to free her from the bewildering possession,” according to the brief logline.
Greg Newman of Dark Sky Films called Mother, May I? a “true original” that brings together “supernatural elements to create an unforgettable film. The film pushes boundaries, and is filled with edge and emotion.”
