Enjoy a little vampire tease.

Morbius–the Sony Pictures film based on the Marvel Comics living vampire–may not have been the huge critical and commercial success fans had hoped for, but it’s now available on digital, and the first nine minutes have been released. Check out the video–courtesy of ign.com— and judge for yourself.

In addition, a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release–complete with outtakes, bloopers, behind-the-scenes featurettes and Easter eggs–will be available starting June 14.

Morbius–directed by Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay by Matt Sazama, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Burk Sharpless–follows Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) as he tries to find a cure for his rare blood disorder.

His gamble seems to succeed, but “a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?”

The film also stars Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson (with a special appearance by Michael Keaton).

The Marvel Comics Morbius character–created by writer/editor Roy Thomas and artist Gil Kane–debuted as a villain in The Amazing SpiderMan No101 way back in 1971, and later starred in the black-and-white Vampire Tales from 1973-1975.
