General Mills is rolling out a “monster” sweepstakes just in time for Halloween!
Everyone’s favorite spooky cereals–Franken Berry, Count Chocula and Boo Berry–will come with something extra special this season–if you’re lucky enough to win the Monster Cereal Sweepstakes that offers one-of-a-kind busts of the cereal mascots, as reported by comicbook.com. A behind-the-scenes clip of the making of these works of art can be seen on this page.
These 20-inch-tall busts–that feature the likenesses of the classic cereal mascots–were created by award-winning Hollywood special effects wizard Karlee Morse. “I’m a big Halloween fan,” she said in a statement, “so the opportunity to work with these iconic Monster Cereal characters has been truly exciting.” General Mills, she added, “wanted to bring their characters to life in a way that’s never been done before.”
To enter the contest, just “like” the official General Mills sweepstakes post on Instagram (seen on this page), put your favorite Monster Cereal in the comments on the post and use the hashtag #MonsterCerealSweepstakes. Doing this will automatically enter you into the drawing for the busts. The contest runs through 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Oct. 22.
