We have sad news to report this afternoon as Michael Madsen has passed away at the age of 67. Madsen was found unresponsive by deputies responding to a 911 call at his Malibu home and pronounced dead at 8:25 a.m. due to cardiac arrest, according to a report on The Hollywood Reporter.
Madsen was an associate of Quentin Tarantino and would go on to appear in many of his films including Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill: Volume 2, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
He would also gain acclaim for his appearances in films such as WarGames, The Natural, The Doors, Thelma & Louise, Donnie Brasco, Die Another Day, and Sin City.
Appearing in a plethora of genres, Madsen is remembered by horror fans for his roles in the following films and TV shows: Species, Trail of a Serial Killer, Species II, Vampires Anonymous, Frankenstein (2004), BloodRayne and Scary Movie 4.
