Mezco Toyz Fair 2022 Reveals – Day 1

by Sean McLaughlin

While New York Toy Fair 2022 may have been cancelled due to covid concerns, toy makers have proven to be very resilient in revealing their upcoming lines for both the press and for the fans.  For the second year in a row, the rock stars over at Mezco Toyz are holding a virtual Mezco Toyz Fair through their official social media channels.  From Friday February 18th to Sunday February 20th, the unique toy and figure company are running very cool giveaways, fun activities like quizzes, and of course unveiling the latest and greatest Mezco designs and licenses.

For horror fans, Mezco always delivers, with license agreements with some of the greatest franchises around like Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Texas Chainsaw Massacre among MANY others.  The big reveals at Mezco Toyz Fair 2022 will be no different, and HNN will be covering all of the action.  Check back daily for updates on what collectors and horror fans can expect in 2022!

Day 1 (February 18th)

Along with pretty cool pieces of The Batman and GI Joe’s Snake Eyes, Mezco really delivered with unique horror reveals on day 1.

Up first is the MDS Roto Plus of The Creep from Creepshow (1982)!  At 18”, this thing is huge…..certainly large enough to stare in at you from outside your bedroom window at night.  While the plush only has one eye (didn’t The Creep have both eyes?), this piece is incredibly detailed and ready to haunt your dreams (and waking hours) sometime in 2022.

Gamers and collectors are in for a treat, as Mezco will releasing a Silent Hill 2-pack in their popular 5 Points line (which give Super7’s ReAction line a run for its money.)  Red Pyramid Thing and Bubble Head Nurse will be included in the boxed set, and ready to hit store shelves (well at least the “cool” stores) in the very near future (pending licensor approval, of course.)

Check back tomorrow for the latest killer reveals during Mezco Toyz Fair 2022!
