Looks like this series will have twists galore.
Wednesday–the Netflix series based on the classic ’60s TV series The Addams Family–will debut sometime this fall, and a new teaser dropped this week that puts the spotlight on the titular daughter (and her handy friend, Thing). Check out the brief clip on this page.

Jenna Ortega stars in the series, and she has the enthusiastic backing of Danny Elfman, who composed the show’s score. “I’m finishing up the second episode with Tim (Burton), and the young actress playing Wednesday is really perfect. She’s just Wednesday through and through, and it’s a lot of fun.”
The supernatural comedy–helmed by Burton–also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzman as Gomez, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley, George Burcea as Lurch and Victor Dorobantu as Thing.
Wednesday–which does not yet have a specific debut date–follows the Addams daughter at Nevermore Academy, where she “attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago,” according to the synopsis.
