The madness continues for Dr. Stephen Strange.
In the wake of the spellbinding box office success of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel is not letting the sorcerer rest on his laurels.
The comics giant is releasing an all-new miniseries–Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise–around Thanksgiving time. Check out the cover and interior art–courtesy of comicbook.com–on this page.
The four-issue series–scheduled to hit comic book shops Nov. 23–is written and illustrated by Tradd Moore (Silver Surfer: Black). The storyline finds the Master of the Mystic Arts “alone on a distant world not his own,” according to the synopsis.
The sorcerer, “lost of purpose and surrounded by danger, must explore this land of blades and mystery in order to unravel arcane secrets and escape the deadly horrors that lie in wait.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness–streaming now on Disney+–is directed by Sam Rami of The Evil Dead fame from a screenplay by Michael Waldron (Loki). The blockbuster follows Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) as they battle their way through the dangers of the Multiverse.
The Marvel Comics character of Dr. Stephen Strange–created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko–made his debut in Strange Tales No. 10 way back in 1963.
