Ever since the teaser trailer was revealed in July at San Diego Comic-Con, fans waited eagerly for a full preview of The Witcher. On Halloween, Netflix dropped the much-anticipated trailer to the delight of those same fans.
The series stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Princess Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as King Eist Tuirseach, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia de Vries and Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla Vigo.
The official synopsis of The Witcher is as follows:The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
