How far would you go…to face your demons?
Devil’s Workshop–a new horror title from Lionsgate–will land in theaters (and on-demand and digital) at the end of the month, and a tension-filled trailer dropped this week to give fans a taste of what’s to come. Check out the video–courtesy of Collider–on this page.
The R-rated feature–which will debut Sept. 30–is written and directed by Chris von Hoffman (Monster Party), and stars Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild), Timothy Granaderos (The Twin) and Radha Mitchell (Man on Fire).
In this thriller, “struggling actor Clayton (Granaderos)–desperate for a role as a demonologist–contacts Eliza (Mitchell), an expert on devil lore, to help him prepare and ends up spending the weekend at her home,” according to the synopsis.
Eliza forces Clayton to confront his troubling past and perform dark rituals (including sacrificing a goat). What it comes down to is: Does she want to help him, seduce him–or destroy him?
