‘Last Straw’ Picked Up By Blue Finch Films Before Festivals

Can diners be hazardous to your health?

Last Straw–a new horror-thriller that’s slated for the Sitges Film Festival and Beyond Fest–has been acquired by Blue Finch Films for worldwide sales, according to Variety.

This film–that marks the directorial debut of Alan Scott Neal–is scripted by Taylor Sardoni and stars Jessica Belkin (American Horror Story), Jeremy Sisto (Thirteen) and Taylor Kowalski (Snowfall).

Last Straw–described as a home invasion thriller–follows a young waitress working the late shift at a rural roadside diner whose life “takes a terrifying turn when she become the target of a group of masked assailants.” As the night unfolds, she must summon all her strength just to survive.

The film’s producers include Daniel Brandt, Dane and Cole Eckerle, Michael Giannone, Phil Keefe, Levon Panek and Sam Slater.
