“Will you make a choice?”
The apocalypse rears its ugly head in the latest trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin, which lands in theaters Feb. 3, 2023. Check out the tension-filled video on this page.
The acclaimed writer/director is pulling no punches with this thriller. The feature is rated R for “violence and language,” a rating the director has not earned since his 2008 pic The Happening.
Shyamalan said this film “is definitely in the wheelhouse of the things you’re seeing from me now–this contained and gigantic event that’s occurring.”
In the movie–inspired by Paul Tremblay’s novel The Cabin at the End of the World–a young girl and her parents are on vacation at a remote cabin when they’re taken hostage by four armed strangers “who demand the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse,” according to the synopsis.
With almost no contact with the outside world, the frightened family “must decide what they believe–before all is lost.”
The cast includes genre veterans Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Ben Aldridge and Jonathan Groff.
