His Royal Highness has arrived.
A new King Ghidorah figure–based on the monster’s appearance in 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters–will be unleashed by Hiya Toys in the third quarter of this year. Check out photos of the statue–courtesy of Toyark–on this page.
The collectible stands nearly 14 inches tall, with an impressive wingspan of 22 inches. The creature’s three necks–supporting its three heads–boast 27 points of articulation each, with the wings sporting 10 points of articulation. Pricing has not yet been announced.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters–written and directed by Michael Dougherty–served as a sequel to 2014’s Godzilla, and was the 35th film in the iconic franchise.
In the film–starring Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Vera Farmiga and Sally Hawkins–eco-terrorists release King Ghidorah, who then awakens other Titans–forcing Godzilla and Mothra to surface and battle Ghidorah and Rodan in mortal combat.
