Release Date: April 24, 2012

Synopsis: Frank Vincent (Goodfellas, The Sopranos), Marky Ramone (The Ramones) and Brea Grant (Heroes, Dexter) take on the zombie apocalypse in this blood-soaked dark comedy from ‘Crawl to Me’ mastermind, Alan Robert. The uber-violent grand finale grabs the undead by the cannolis.

Our Thoughts: First off, you can’t read “Killogy #4” without reading the first three. So far, Alan Robert
has done an excellent job of building tension, as well as mystery around the three characters and the entire apocalyptic situation. This finale showcases Robert’s ability to mix the gore, with humor. He also leaves the reader with surprise ending. Frank Vincent may think his ending as Phil Leotardo on “The Sopranos” was a walk in the park compared to what awaits outside the jail cell.

Story: This is the “Killogy” issue where we first see the characters outside of the jail cell. How they get there….I’m not giving that away. They do find a completely changed world, as well as what they think to be the answer to the entire zombie catastrophe. Speaking of which, outside of the cell, there are plenty of action scenes, including great kills with some old school blood and guts to satisfy any horror comic fan’s appetite.

Art: With “Killogy,” Robert uses a more classic art style than with his previous “Crawl to Me.” This style complements the story extremely well. The finale includes more action, and gore. The vivid tones and detailed style delivers in this department no doubt.

“Killogy” #4 is the culmination of the pressure cooker of the jail cell where the three social outcasts were trapped for the first three issues. If you’ve been reading the series, the final installment is a must read. Robert completes his vision with an ending that is so unexpected, it’s masterful. How does it end? You can find out on April 24th.
