Killer ‘Chucky’ Art Unveiled To Herald Second Season

Keep an eye on your kitchen knife drawer–Chucky is coming back.

Syfy and USA Network had previously announced they were renewing its hit Chucky series for a second season, and this week, show creator Don Mancini drove home that point (no pun intended) with a Twitter post of striking artwork for Chucky 2.

Fans will recall that the final episode of Season 1 ended with Chucky compiling his army of Good Guy Dolls that apparently are destined to be distributed across the country. Obviously, that’s a plot thread that needs to be tied up next season.

Chucky–a spinoff of the Child’s Play film franchise–stars Brad Dourif (voicing the killer doll), Fiona Dourif, Devon Sawa, Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Bjorgvin Arnarson and Lex Doig.

The show’s first season–which picks up after the events of 2017’s Cult of Chucky–starts when a vintage Chucky doll is found at a suburban garage sale, and a series of horrifying murders “begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets.”

The original 1988 Child’s Play–directed by Tom Holland from a screenplay he wrote with Mancini and John Lafia–gave birth to six sequels, a 2019 reboot, comic books, video games and an avalanche of collectibles.
