With cold season well underway, we cannot escape sticky, mucasy, goopy gunk invading our lives. To compound this grossness, our Kill of the Week comes from The Blob (1988).
THE PLOT: Thirty years after Steve McQueen saved the world from the gelatinous invader from space, The Blob got a facelift (well, you know what I mean) with updated special effects and a lot more scares. Kevin Dillion stars as Brian Flagg, the teen townie who is trying to stop the rapidly growing mass from absorbing everything in its path.
THE KILL: No good deed goes unpunished, when kitchen handyman George Ruit (Clayton Landey) steps in to unclog a sink and gets pulled down the drain face-first.
