Keanu Reeves Returning For ‘Constantine’ Sequel

John Constantine is back…and he’s about to go John Wick on some demons.

Warner Bros, is developing a sequel to the 2005 Constantine–with fan-favorite actor Keanu Reeves set to reprise his role as the famed demonologist/exorcist, according to a report on Deadline.

In the original film, Constantine is a dying man trapped on Earth, with a mission to save his soul (and the world itself) from demons and prevent a battle raging between the angel Gabriel and the forces of Hell. The horror/adventure flick was a box office hit, earning more than $200 million worldwide.

Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) is expected to return as director of the sequel, with Akiva Goldsman (Rings) on board to handle the screenplay. J.J. Abrams and Hannah Minghella will produce under the Bad Robot banner.
