Justin Chatwin, known for ‘Shameless’ and ‘Orphan Black’, will be starring in the upcoming supernatural TNT drama ‘Breed’. The series are about a race of creatures suspected of committing a string of brutal killings in the Pacific Northwest. Chatwin will be playing Cooper Wells, a gifted detective on the case. When it is clear that the killers are inhuman, he employs a female assassin named Ruby to aid the police in their mission to track down the savage creatures. Wells is an ex-FBI agent who is at work in a low profile position at the Tacoma Police Force. He was let go from the FBI for claiming to see a criminal turn into a monster and has been recovering from the apparent nervous breakdown. John Scott Shepherd is writing and executive producing the series with Nicky Weinstock. Scott Winant is attached to direct the pilot episode.
