Since 2015, the return to Jurassic Park has been a wild ride of thrills and nostalgia with two films leading to the conclusion in Jurassic World: Dominion and to top the third off, original JP star Sam Niell has confirmed his and other returning stars will have very big roles all throughout the film in an interview with Yahoo.
Returning to the series with Neill, who plays paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant , are Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sadler and Jeff Goldblum who portrays Dr. Ian Malcolm, although Neill said “probably won’t be running quite as fast as I was 27 years ago!”
Though not a lot of information is available about the plot, Dominion picks up after JP: Fallen Kingdom where after several dinosaurs had been taken to the continental United States some were sold in auction to the highest bidders for personal gain and others escaped into the wild leading to the possibility of absolute chaos across the planet.
Although production on JP: Dominion was suspended for three months in the United Kingdom due to the uncertainties of COVID-19, filming is set to pick back up this month with stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and B.D. Wong all returning for the sequel.
Based on the Michael Crichton novel of the same name, Jurassic Park as film was released on June, 9 1993 and followed by five sequels; The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and the latest being Dominion.
JP: Dominion is set for release on June 11, 2021. Check back soon for more!
