What’s better than a lot of dinosaurs? Even more dinosaurs.
An extended cut of Jurassic World Dominion will come to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, digital and DVD next week, with 14 minutes of footage not included in the theatrical version–as well as an alternate opening–according to a report on Collider.
The new cut–available starting Aug. 16–contains the following bonus features: Battle at Big Rock, a short film that takes place one year after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom; A New Breed of FX, a discussion of the visual effects at work in Dominion; Together for the First Time, the cast and crew discuss the evolution of the film franchise; Creating a Plague, Laura Dern and Bryce Dallas Howard discuss the enormous locusts in Dominion; and Final Night, the emotional final night of shooting with the cast and crew.
Jurassic World Dominion–directed by Colin Trevorrow from a screenplay he wrote with Emily Carmichael–stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, along with Jurassic Park legacy stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.
The film–which recently became the second-biggest Hollywood release of the year–is set four years after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, when dinosaurs roam the globe alongside humans.
