Jordan Peele’s ‘Goat’ Signs Julia Fox As Female Lead

Who is the greatest of all time?

Goat–yet another enigmatic genre pic from Oscar-winning filmmaker Jordan Peele–continues to fill out its cast, with the female lead signing on this week, according to a report on Deadline.

Julia Fox (Presence) has joined Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers in the sports horror film that’s being produced  by Peele (Get Out, Us and Nope), Win Rosenfeld, Ian Cooper and Jamal Watson. The title apparently refers to the acronym for Greatest of All Time.

Directed by Justin Tipping from a screenplay by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie, the film follows an up-and-coming young athlete who is invited to train with a team’s retiring star. There’s been no word yet on production schedules or a release window.

David Kern and Kate Oh serve as executive producers on the movie, and Sara Scott and Tony Ducret are overseeing the project for Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions.
