Joe Johnston to direct Extinction

THR is reporting that Joe Johnston (Captain America: The First Avenger, The Rocketeer) is in negotiations to direct Extinction.

At this point plot details have not been released but it involves a man trying to save his family during an alien invasion.

We will post more news as soon as it becomes available.
