Joe Bob Brings ‘Heartbreak’ For Valentine’s Day Treat

by Thomas Tuna

Another year, another laundry list of holidays for Joe Bob Briggs to celebrate in his flamboyant, horror-themed fashion.

The last time fans saw Joe Bob on Shudder was during last month’s Joe Bob Ruins Christmas special, and this week the streamer announced a Valentine’s Day program that will air Feb. 11, according to a report on JoBlo.com.

The special–with the offbeat title of Joe Bob’s Heartbreak Trailer Park–is pretty much a mystery at this point (as is Joe Bob’s wont), but Shudder did say the show will spotlight “love and a tinge of horror.” Briggs will be joined by “special guests for a double-feature of two unique films that explore the heartbreaking side of Valentine’s Day.”

Briggs himself expounded on that description on his Twitter account, writing that he will host four special guests “who are experts on the dark side of love, along with two movies about deranged passion. We’re tearing the heart out of Valentine’s Day.” Take that, Cupid!

The fourth season of Joe Bob’s main show–The Last DriveIn with Joe Bob Briggs–will debut later this year. That show began in 2018 as a one-time, 13-movie marathon, but it proved so popular that Shudder kept bringing it back.
