What would Halloween be without a visit from everyone’s favorite drive-in horror host?
In what has become a terror-filled tradition over the last few years, Joe Bob Briggs will preside over Joe Bob’s Halloween Hoedown on Shudder Oct. 8, as reported by JoBlo.com. Check out the tweet from Joe Bob himself on this page, officially announcing the seasonal special that promises “serial-killer mayhem and Halloween experts to tell us how to carve.”

This extra-special Last Drive–In double-feature–also available on-demand starting Oct. 10–is keeping a lid on the movies to be shown, but Shudder said horror fans can “count on something scary and perfect for the season, with special guests to be announced.”
This will be third Halloween special on Shudder for Joe Bob. In 2019, the popular host showed Halloween, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5 during Joe Bob’s Halloween Hootenanny. Last year saw Joe Bob’s Halloween Hideaway present Haunt and Hack–O–Lantern.
The Last Drive–In with Joe Bob Briggs debuted on Shudder in 2018 with a 24-hour marathon that seemingly has never ended. Shudder recently renewed the show for a fourth season, which will premiere sometime next year.
