Jim Jarmusch Begins Filming ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ with Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Steve Buscemi and More

According to IndieWire, the acclaimed director of Coffee and Cigarettes and The Only Lovers Left Alive, Jim Jarmusch, has just begun work on a zombie film entitled The Dead Don’t Die.   The film will star Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Steve Buscemi, Tilda Swinton, Selena Gomez, Rosie Perez, Chloë Sevigny, and Austin Butler.

Set photos reportedly show Murray and Driver playing police officers in the new film.  Jarmusch and Murray have worked together before in the aforementioned Coffee and Cigarettes and Broken Flowers and Driver was the star of Jarmusch’s Paterson.

Jarmusch explored vampires in a unique fashion in Only Lovers Left Alive (starring Swinton and Tom Hiddlestonand The Dead Don’t Die also appears to be a bit atypical.  In an interview with Philly.com, Murray shared that the film will be a comedy.
