Jennifer Tilly Back In ‘Chucky’ Season 2, Set For Fall Debut

What a doll! Tiffany is back in Chucky’s life.

Jennifer Tilly has signed on for Season 2 of the hit USA and Syfy series Chucky, as reported by Deadline, so fans can expect to see a lot more of Tiffany Valentine and Tiffany the doll–building on the cliffhanger ending of the first season.

In that scene, as fans will recall, Tiffany the doll popped up and held a gun on Andy, who had stolen a truck full of Chucky dolls. Ain’t love grand?

Tilly first appeared as Tiffany Valentine in Bride of Chucky (1998), reprising the role in Seed of Chucky (2004), Curse of Chucky (2013) and Cult of Chucky (2017) before showing up again in the Chucky TV series.

Chucky–slated to slash its way back to the small screen sometime this fall (around Halloween?)–is a spinoff of the popular Child’s Play film series. Franchise creator Don Mancini serves as executive producer.

In addition to Tilly, the show stars Brad Dourif (who voices Chucky), Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle and Devon Sawa.

The show’s first season–which picks up after the events of Cult of Chucky–started when a vintage Chucky doll was found at a suburban garage sale. That seemed to kick off a series of horrifying murders that “begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets.”

The original 1988 Child’s Play–directed by Tom Holland from a screenplay he wrote with Mancini and John Lafia–spawned six sequels, a 2019 reboot, comic books, video games and more collectibles than you can count.
