Jennifer Blanc-Biehn to Direct The Girl

Jennifer Blanc-Biehn has several film projects in the pipeline for Blanc/Biehn Productions that she will produce, and star in, the newest one and her second time directing a feature includes the upcoming horror thriller THE GIRL.

Executive producer and investor Lony Ruhmann will again collaborate on the project with his ideas and creative vision along with Blanc-Biehn on THE GIRL, which will star Evie Louise Thompson (The Call) in the title role. Other notable stars joining the talented cast are Michael Biehn (Terminator), Tia Carrera (True Lies), Dana Daurey (Among Friends), Nick Nicholson (Hidden in the Woods), Raven Carrell, Jenise Blanc, Lorraine Ziff (Among Friends), Tanya Newobould (Among Friends), and Hallie Jordan (To The Bridge / Producer at Blanc Biehn productions of the upcoming The Art of Perception, Hidden in the Woods and The Girl as well) and introducing Tristan DeVan as Tommy.

THE GIRL is a harrowing tale of a kidnapped girl who is rescued by a young boy, and in return is compelled to save him from the horrors that lie in his home.

The production team under Blanc/Biehn Productions and executive producer Lony Ruhmann includes Mark Burnham, Kate Rees Davies, Tony Sneggoff, Hallie Jordan, Jenise Blanc, and composition will be handled by Randy Chance (The Night Visitor, Treachery).

Award winning director of photography, Steve Romano, will use the latest in Sony 4K Technology and Panavision Primo Lenses. “We are so thrilled to have this opportunity through Steve Romano and Kate Rees Davies with Panavision and Sony,” says Blanc-Biehn. “We know this package will make THE GIRL shine and support out vision for the film.”
