“It has to be all of them.”

HBO went right to the source in their casting of Isaac for The Last of Us Season 2, according to a report on Deadline. Jeffrey Wright, who voices Isaac in The Last of Us video game, has officially signed on to join the HBO adaptation of the hit survival horror game.

Wright is the second actor to reprise his own voice role, after Merle Dandridge did the same for her character Marlene in Season 1 of the series.

The character of Isaac is the leader of the Washington Liberation Front, a group that is a paramilitary faction based in Seattle.

The Last of Us centers on Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they attempt to survive after a global pandemic destroys civilization.

Season 2 of the series is set to premiere on HBO sometime in 2025. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more on The Last of Us.
