Jamie Lee Curtis Says Goodbye To Her ‘Halloween’ Legacy

by Thomas Tuna

“Thank you so much for all of it.”

Universal Pictures this week released a moving video of legendary Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis as she says goodbye, farewell and so long to the cast and crew of Halloween Ends–and to her final time playing Laurie Strode in the classic horror franchise. Check out the tear-jerker here.

To bring Halloween Ends home, fans can view it on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment starting today, Dec. 27.

This third entry in the trilogy from director David Gordon Green finds Laurie living peacefully with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) as she puts the finishing touches on her memoir.

Of course, that peace is quickly shattered when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting–an act that sets off such terror and violence that Laurie is forced to “finally confront the evil she can’t control.”

The film also stars James Jude Courtney as Michael Myers, Kyle Richards, Will Patton, Omar Dorsey, Michael O’Leary and Nick Castle.
