James Wan Producing Horror Flick ‘Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit’

by Thomas Tuna

With a title like this, it’s a horror film?

Paramount Pictures this week secured a horror pitch for Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit from writer Melanie Toast, according to a report in Deadline.

Toast–who will adapt the screenplay from a horror short story by novelist and essayist Julianna Baggott–will also produce the film alongside James Wan (SawThe ConjuringInsidious) and Will Rowbotham and Luke Maxwell from 3Arts. Executive producers include Baggott and Brendan Deneen.

Story details are nonexistent at this point, but both Toast and Baggott have interesting resumés. Toast’s screenplay for the horror film Shut In recently was bought by New Line Cinema, and she is currently writing The Poet for Netflix. Baggott recently sold short stories to Netflix–with Shawn Levy on board to direct–and to Paramount TV.

With so many question marks about this project remaining, keep reading Horror News Network for the next update on Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit.
