The door to horror comes home.

Insidious: The Red Door--the latest chapter in the popular horror franchise–is one of the most successful genre films of the year, and now fans can look forward to the jump scares coming to their living rooms.

The film–directed by star Patrick Wilson from a screenplay by Scott Teems–will be available on Blu-ray and DVD Sept. 12.

Produced by James Wan (who helmed the original film) and Jason Blum, the movie serves as a direct sequel to 2013’s Insidious: Chapter 2. Wilson, Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne, Andrew Astor, Steve Coulter, Joseph Bishara, Angus Sampson and Lin Shaye all reprise their roles in this installment.

The film follows Josh Lambert (Wilson) as he heads east to drop off son Dalton (Simpkins) at college, but Dalton’s dream becomes a living nightmare “when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.”
