Your living room is getting a new red door.
Insidious: The Red Door–the fifth entry in the classic horror franchise–has raked in nearly $190 million at the global box office, and it will now start streaming on Netflix Nov. 4. The film is already available on Blu-ray and DVD.
The film–directed by star Patrick Wilson from a screenplay by Scott Teems and produced by James Wan and Jason Blum–serves as a direct sequel to 2013’s Insidious: Chapter 2.
The movie follows Josh Lambert (Wilson) as he heads east to drop off his son, Dalton (Ty Simpkins), at college–but Dalton’s dream turns into a nightmare “when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.”
The cast is rounded out by Rose Byrne, Andrew Astor, Steve Coulter, Joseph Bishara, Angus Sampson and Lin Shaye–who all reprise their roles in the franchise.
