Image Entertainment has bought the distribution rights to ‘Dark Was The Night’ from Calibur Media. The film stars Kevin Durand (The Strain) and Lukas Haas as sheriffs who must battle an ancient evil. Jack Heller directed the film, with a script by Tyler Hisel, which was titled ‘The Trees’ under the 2009 Black List. A release of the film is planned for later this year by Image Entertainment.
