| Variety id reporting that IFC has picked up US rights to "Breaking the Girls." Written by Mark Distefano and "American Psycho" scribe Guinevere Turner, "Breaking the Girls" stars Madeline Zima ("Californication"), Agnes Bruckner and Shawn Ashmore ("X-Men: The Last Stand"). John Stockwell co-stars alongside Kate Levering and Shanna Collins. Breaking the Girls follows “a college student who, when slandered by a hostile classmate, is befriended by a manipulative young woman (Zima) who proposes the perfect, untraceable crime — to kill each other’s archenemies.
