‘House Of Spoils’ Puts Oscar Winner On The Menu

Ariana DeBose–an Academy Award winner for the recent West Side Story reboot–has signed on to star in the psychological thriller House of Spoils, according to a report on Deadline.

The film–from Prime Video and Blumhouse Television–will follow “an ambitious chef (DeBose), who opens her first restaurant,” according to the logline, “and must contend with the powerful spirit of the estate’s previous owner who threatens to sabotage her at every turn.”

Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy will direct the film from their own screenplay and original idea. There was no word on additional casting or production schedules at this early juncture.
