Horrorscope–a new horror feature adapted from the Nicholas Adams novel–this week fleshed out its cast, signing its four leads, according to a report on Deadline.
Jacob Batalon (the Spider-Man franchise, Reginald the Vampire), Alana Boden (The Invitation), Adain Bradley (Wrong Turn: The Foundation) and Avantika (Senior Year) will headline the film from Screen Gems and Alloy Entertainment that is slated to start filming this fall. Also cast were Humberly Gonzalez (Slumberland) and Wolfgang Novogratz (The Half of It).
Horrorscope–written and directed by Anna Halberg and Spenser Cohen (who also serve as executive producers)–follows a group of college friends who, after getting their horoscopes read, “begin dying in ways connected to their fortunes,” according to the logline. “Are their fates fatal? Or can they change what’s written in the stars?”
The film–which does not yet have a release window–is produced by Leslie Morgenstein, Elysa Koplovitz Dutton and Scott Glassgold.
