Dust–a new horror entry from Searchlight Pictures–is adding to a cast that already includes genre veterans Sarah Paulson and Annaleigh Ashford.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach (FX’s The Bear) has joined the feature, according to a report on Deadline.
The film–from directors Will Joines and Karrie Crouse (who also wrote the screenplay)–will stream as a Hulu Original on an unannounced date. Principal photography is expected start later this month.
Dust follows a woman trapped by “increasingly perilous dust storms who is haunted by her past encounters with a threatening presence,” according to the synopsis. So, she “must take extraordinary measures to protect her family.”
Paulson also serves as the film’s executive producer, alongside producers Alix Madigan and Lucas Joaquin. Searchlight’s DanTram Nguyen and Katie Goodson-Thomas are overseeing the project.
